Finding Good Mlm Leads Isn’t That Hard
Finding good mlm leads, was the latest question I was asked via email the other day. I had to think about that for a moment because it’s been a long time since I purchased mlm leads.
Back in the late 1990’s our downline was thriving and most of us were receiving over 2000 mlm leads a month for nothing. To be blunt, we were members of ProStep and Leaders Club the two most recognizable names in the leads industry.
Today, only one of them is left and hundreds of other lead sources have opened doors. I used to sell mlm leads for a friend of mine and we did quite well for a long time. However, as times have changed we kind of stepped away from selling leads because generating your own mlm leads became a very simple process.
Here is what we are now doing to help us find good mlm leads. We call this our three step process and it is a part of a training ebook called Tightwad Tactics. As the name implies, we are tightwads and we hate paying for leads.
Finding good mlm leads-Step 1
Generate a simple lead capture page and offer something of value for free. Now before you go balistic you probably have a upline member who is willing to help you do all that crazy html stuff so making a landing page is nothing more than writing it out.
Finding good mlm leads-Step 2
Once you have a landing page ready to go, you definitely need to have your own autoresponder sign up page on that site. Most networkers think that their recruiting system their team leaders created is the ticket. What these poor fools don’t realize is that their team leaders are not only making a ton of money each month charging you to use their system, they will eventually begin using the leads you and everyone else generates through their landing pages.
Having your own autoresponder is probably the biggest mistake today’s networkers are making. I know your upline will not tell you that, because they don’t understand it’s importance. However, the guy/gal who created the system sure knows how important it is. There are a ton of reasons why it’s so darn important to have your own autoresponder.
Finding good mlm leads-Step 3
The only thing you have left to do is start driving traffic to your website. There are tons of avenues to chose, including:
*social sites
*traffic exchanges (don’t laugh they work or I wouldn’t be doing it)
*article marketing
*signature lines
*forum posting
*blog comments
This is only a partial list that can climb to the hundreds if you want. The only problem is trying to become an expert in all these areas. It’s important to become proficient in a couple of areas before you move on the next set.
In summary, my best advice to every single network marketing professional or mlm distributor is to get your own landing page and autoresponder. I’d drive all my traffic through this landing page, BEFORE they ever see your site. Building a relationship with your mlm prospect is critical to your success. Unfortunately all these downline building systems either use “fear of loss” or “your money is waiting” to entice people to join. Unfortunately a lot of people do join only to leave after a few months because they can’t make any money.
